FREE Summer Concert Series, co-sponsored by the Syracuse Lions Club.
All concerts are FREE! Concerts start at 7pm in Centennial Park-East of the Syracuse Police Building at 1800 S 2000 W.  Bring a blanket or chair, friends and family, and enjoy an evening of music.  The Syracuse Lions Club will have refreshments for sale. 
August 14th concert will feature Darin Southam
August 21st concert will be the first annual open mic night
August 27th will be the Taste of Polynesia concert and dinner.  A delicious polynesian dinner will be served between 5:30 and 6:30pm for $8/plate.  The concert will start at 7pm. 

 
Arts Council Volunteers Wanted! The Arts Council is looking for volunteers to serve as committee members to help in theatre and the summer concert series.  Please contact Heather Steed for more information by calling (801) 824-1771 or emailing arts@syracuseut.com.
 
The Syracuse Guild for the Visual Arts (SGVA) continues to sponsor professionally-taught art classes FREE to the public.  The guild also hosts group-painting sessions on the first Saturday of each month at 8:30am at the Community Center in the Arts and Crafts room.  To enroll in classes or learn more about the Guild, visit www.sgvarts.blogspot.com.
