Syracuse Parks & Facilities

This station houses both administration offices and firehouse living areas.

Working Areas

• The working areas include:
• A 6-door bay
• A decontamination room
• Gym
• Indoor/outdoor fire tactic training facility
• Medical and fire supply storage areas
• Tool shop

Living Area

The living area provides 6 firefighter bedrooms (two of which are Captain and Engineers quarters with attached office space and bathrooms), a fully functional kitchen, and living area.

Administration Area

The administration area includes:

• Chief and deputy chief offices
• A combined administrative assistant/reception office
• Conference room
• Fire marshal offices
• A training room that doubles as the City’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC)

Training Facilities

The training facilities include:

• A 4-story tower to simulate a variety of fire tactic training
• Confined space simulation Forcible entry door
• Rappelling hooks
• Smoke out room
